Relaxe Femme: A Body Positive Retreat Exclusively For Plus Size Women

Have you been waiting for the perfect excuse to invest in your own peace and wellness by attending a plus size exclusive retreat?
If you said, yes to any of these questions then Laluxe Femme has the perfect vacation plans for you! Relaxe Femme is a body positive retreat exclusively for plus size women hosted at Harmony PEC in Prince Edward County, Ontario. Located about 2.5 hours from Toronto, 3 hours from Ottawa and 5 hours from Montreal it is the perfect spot to get away from the city for a few days of summer fun and relaxation. Held from July 29th to July 31st, we will also be celebrating the host's 40th birthday on July 30th.
Attendees of the Relaxe Femme retreat will experience a truly serene and completely private property, exclusively reserved for plus size women only. As we are Rainbow Registered and a queer owned business this is an LGBTQ friendly event. All guests will have access to the following;
- Fire pit with fire side set (blanket and seat cushion included in cabins)
- 26 acres of beautiful land including 1400 ft of private waterfront and forest trails
- Wood fired sauna at waterfront
- Studio with floor to ceiling windows providing a sweeping view of Lake Ontario (available for use: yoga mats, bolsters, meditation cushions, hand crafted eye masks, and more)
- Large deck with lake views for outdoor relaxation
- Open air dining hall with seating and full organic tea and alternative coffee bar
- Pictures and videos taken throughout your stay
- Plant-based, mostly organic farm-to-table meals freshly prepared by Chef Chris, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages provided throughout your stay (snack to-go bags provided upon departure).
By staying at Harmony, each guest will support a Canadian Forest Project Tree Planting, Wetland Conservation and Wildlife Habitat – a link will be provided for each guest to name a tree. This offsets all of the emissions used during your visit here – creating a carbon neutral stay! All products provided by Harmony during your retreat are either Canadian made, support of small businesses, give-back programs, and ethically sourced. This includes your personalized Welcome Basket and everything it contains.
As a body positive activist for 10 years and the owner of Laluxe Femme, Lindsay will be facilitating several workshops and group activities during the retreat. You may not know that Lindsay studied to be a counsellor in both university and college, then went on to manage several community based social programs and women's shelters. As a result she has almost 20 years of experience organizing retreat style events for clients and staff team building. All offerings are optional to participate in and are open to all skill levels.
A certified yoga instructor will provide us with a restorative yoga class each night to help us wind down for fireside snacks and chats before bed. You may choose to join and participate, join just for the sense of community, or not join at all. Restorative yoga is slow paced and involves lots of yoga props, pillows and relaxation. RMT and Thai massage sessions are available for an additional fee, please inquire upon booking your spot as arrangements must be made in advance.
This retreat is designed to be all-inclusive. You will not need to purchase any food or beverages during your stay as all meals, snacks and refreshments are provided. All activities on the itinerary are included at no extra cost. All required supplies will be provided, no need to bring anything at all besides clothing and footwear. Once you arrive at Harmony PEC you can park your vehicle and let go of all your worries. Our team is there to ensure your visit to the County is absolute perfection!
Invest in your own wellness by joining us on this unforgettable experience for a fraction of the cost of other similar experiences. Shared accommodations are $999 plus HST per person until the end of our early bird special when the price reverts to $1150 plus HST per person for a shared cabin with two XL twin beds. There are a maximum of 2 solo rooms with one king bed each available at a cost of $1599 plus HST until the end of our early bird special when the price reverts to $1750 plus HST. Early bird special ends on April 30, 2024. Space is limited to a maximum of 10 guests plus the retreat host. All costs are per person.
All payments must be made via etransfer. Please note, all bookings are final and non-refundable. If you and a friend are booking together and would like to share a cabin, please indicate so in your registration email. Guests will register for body positive retreat programming with Laluxe Femme but all costs for accommodations and refreshments will be paid directly to Harmony PEC.
